Initial 400km Experience with the Li Auto L6 On the first day of picking up the car, I drove from Shanghai to Liyang. Here are some thoughts on the L6: **Range:** Started with 99%, estimated to arrive at 27%, but actually traveled 362km and arrived with 22% remaining. Due to temporary plates, I drove a bit recklessly, so energy consumption was relatively high. The air conditioning was set at 25°C throughout the trip. On wet roads, it accelerated sharply at 120km/h with ample power, experiencing slight wheel slip but quickly correcting itself. On dry roads, noise suppression at high speeds was excellent! **Chassis:** The driving feel is undeniably premium—truly high-end! It strikes a perfect balance between an SUV and a sedan. The air suspension at its lowest setting looks great! **NVH:** Unbelievably quiet! It feels like driving at 80km/h when actually going 120km/h. **Autonomous Driving:** Even without VLA, it’s already very capable. The only downside is the frequent prompts to take over control. During heavy rain, when others could barely see and had their hazard lights on, the L6’s autonomous driving system overtook cars effortlessly... Lidar really gives it superior vision. **Audio System:** My model doesn’t have the Platinum package, but the karaoke feature without a microphone works very well. **Drawbacks:** There’s still a new car smell inside, and since it was raining, I couldn’t ventilate the cabin, making it a bit stuffy. Don’t push the rear-wheel drive to its limits—it can still slip! If possible, go for the four-wheel drive option. The larger wheels, costing over 20,000, are worth it. **Summary:** Li Auto, known for its family-friendly vehicles, has surprisingly excelled in sportiness and driving dynamics. Combined with its charging network and pricing, it’s bound to be a hit. The only thing you’ll need to accept is its unconventional exterior and interior design, but that’s also part of its original charm. From following the Li Auto One since 2019, we’ve finally got our ideal car.

Это моя первая машина, и у меня не так много опыта, кроме тест-драйвов других моделей. Комфорт превосходит ощущения от DiDi Premium и Han Feifan. Мультимедийная система бесспорно плавная и умная: Sound Master, Task Master, Ideal Desk Mate и караоке без микрофона — все очень удобны в использовании. С пневматической подвеской не страшны разбитые дороги, а в городе езда еще комфортнее. Я выбрал платиновую аудиосистему, потому что долго сомневался, насколько заметна разница с более продвинутой. Перед заказом я часто заходил в Huawei и слушал Audi S9 (хотя это другой ценовой сегмент), что подняло мои стандарты к звуку. В целом, я доволен, хотя, конечно, это не уровень S9 или S800, скорее, как у R7. У Li Auto очень много станций сверхбыстрой зарядки, и есть специальные 5C зарядные устройства. Зарядка быстрая, и очереди почти нет. В регионе Янцзы плотность станций еще выше, и одна прямо у меня под офисом. Планирую, когда разрядится, задержаться на работе до 10 вечера, чтобы зарядиться за 70 фэней — сэкономлю как минимум 40 юаней, да еще и доплату за сверхурочные получу. Приятно! О других преимуществах расскажу позже, когда лучше изучу машину.

As a prospective Xiaomi SU7 owner, I decisively gave up on Xiaomi and switched to the Li Auto L6. The decision turned out to be absolutely right! It comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, screen, and large sofa seats, features two-wheel drive with air suspension, and is 40,000 RMB cheaper than my planned SU7 Pro. At the beginning of the year, I was waiting for the refreshed Model Y, but after its release, I really didn’t like the minimalist feel. Then, I waited for the SU7, got influenced by certain marketing hype, and placed a blind order. However, after seeing the actual car, I started having second thoughts. Unfortunately, the order was already locked, so I had to leave it for the time being. When the Li Auto L6 was released, I absolutely fell in love with it. Many Li Auto L-series owners around me recommended it, so I placed another blind order. This time, I wasn’t disappointed—I got it for 255,000 RMB. As one of the first batch of owners, I managed to get the invoice dated October 10th, qualifying for a 19,000 RMB subsidy from Shanghai and the Pudong district. The driving experience is truly on par with the L-series. It feels more compact than the L-series and more comfortable than the Model Y. The acceleration is very linear, reminiscent of a large-displacement naturally aspirated engine, with power available at any moment. My city driving energy consumption is around 12 kWh/100km, which is quite efficient. The interior space is unmatched in its class, and the storage space is also top-tier. Its assisted driving is among the best in the industry. Personally, I recommend using it for following other cars and in light traffic conditions, as lane-changing decisions are still far from human-like judgment—something no automaker has fully achieved yet. The L6 is truly a fantastic family car. If your family plans to buy only one car, you could go for the L8. However, if you plan to have two cars, I highly recommend the L6 paired with a hybrid MPV—it’s the perfect combination for a family! In a few years, I plan to replace my other gasoline car with an MPV—one for city commuting and the other for long trips. Of course, the Li Auto L6 is also suitable for long journeys, as Li Auto has an extensive network of supercharging stations with dedicated 5C chargers, offering fast charging and minimal waiting times.
